Rebecca Deviney is a dedicated wife, mother, and avid animal lover. She has a BA in visual arts from Lander University where she graduated in 1997. She spent her time in college running cross country and focusing on her passion for the visual arts.  She started out taking art classes in the seventh grade and spent much time in study through college. Her focuses during that time ranged from painting, photography, drawing, computer graphics, and pottery. As early as the 9th grade, she was recognized for one of her designs;- an invitation that she created for her Middle School.

 

Her true passion for animals and her love of pencil sketches blended to create a desire to draw sketches of her own pets and those of family and friends. Her own pictures that hung in her house quickly drew the attention of visitors and the requests started flowing in. Her true love of animals shows through in every sketch. Her attention to the smallest detail, especially the eyes, captures the true essence of someone's special family member.
